  Hi Bogart, it’s been a while since I wrote to you last.
  Did you ask Mamma to put up the ‘Love’ painting so we could see it too?
  L’Amour is a strange thing isn’t it Bogie? I’m glad you’re there to make sure that if Mamma has a valentine to share next year, it’ll be with a good human.
  By the way, my Gus had to go away last year but I promised him I’d get another Airedale. He knew that the new dog couldn’t match his personality, but he wanted me to be with good company. I’m about to take his advice this spring/summer. Too bad you aren’t closer to Seattle to help me size up the little contenders.
